What is paid social marketing and why is it important?

At Purple Goat, we utilise paid media to complement other marketing activities, most often ‘supercharging’ organic influencer content with a wide range of objectives including awareness, traffic and full funnel conversion campaigns.

We’ve built a huge wealth of knowledge and expertise in this area, and we know how to create the most cost effective, targeted campaigns that drive incredible results.

Does Purple Goat only work with disabled influencers? 

We predominantly work with disabled creators as we are always ensuring that brands are targeting and connecting with the community. But occasionally we will activate non-disabled creators on a campaign too! We typically work with people that are allies and advocates for inclusion, diversity and representation.

What social media platforms do you use? 

We work across all social media platforms but it will vary depending on the campaign, client and brand.

At Purple Goat we utilise a unique brand of Paid Social Media described as Paid Media 2.0 which allows us to target the disabled community by harnessing the power of influencers engaged audiences and ensuring our ads are shown to the most relevant audiences possible to the brand.

How do you vet influencers used in paid social campaigns? 

When we are choosing to work with influencers/creators, there are a few different checks that we run to make sure that they is a natural fit for the brand and campaign. We’ll look at a few different metrics, your Purple Goat contact will be able to talk you through what we need and why we need it. We ultimately want to make sure that both the brand and all influencers and content creators are aligned on values and messaging, to make sure both are benefitting from collaborating.

Do we get to sign off campaigns before sending live? 

At Purple Goat, the client has as much oversight and control as they want – with full sign off on campaign creative, influencers, deliverables and schedule date before we get going.

Can I apply to be an influencer you work with?

Although we work with many creators across the world and many different campaigns, we are not a talent agency, so we don’t have any talent on our ‘books’. Instead, we play matchmaker and find the right talent for the right campaign!
