Changes to Instagram Profile Grid Display
Instagram is currently testing a new vertical grid display on profiles, switching from the traditional square-shaped thumbnail images. The update makes sense, following the app’s focus on Reels and video content.
But make sure to start posting portrait images, videos and covers from now on, otherwise they will be squeezed to fit the new display.

First Deaf Woman to be Crowned Miss South Africa
Mia le Roix is the first Deaf woman to win this competition. In her acceptance speech, she said how her victory is not just for her but also for the community. Le Roix also mentioned some accessibility barriers she faced, like deaf fatigue, due to the amount of communication and contestants around her. Trend Spotlight: Brat Summer > Demure Autumn
After enjoying our Brat Summer, now it’s all about being very mindful, very cutesy, very demure. The ‘demure’ trend appeared thanks to US-based creator, Jools Lebron, that went viral after using the term in a few of her videos. Now it’s time to celebrate the change of season, and have a mindful and demure autumn (and use Jools’ TikTok sounds in your next video!).

Dove’s recent campaign ‘Beauty Never Gets Old’, highlights the appeal of its classic beauty products, particularly focusing on the Dove soap bar and its timeless quality.
