The Top Pinterest Trends for 2025
Pinterest is back again with their top trends for this year, and you NEED to learn about them! From cherry coded everything, to castlecore, and even pickles, yes, you read that right *insert pickle emoji*. Who knows what 2025 will bring us, but we’re loving Pinterest’s prediction so far.

Instagram Updates Profiles with Vertical Thumbnails
The dreaded update…some of you might have been living with this new feature for some time, but it’s now on everyone’s screens. You might love it or you might hate it, but this is a clear move from Instagram to push Reels content even more, so make sure to focus on that in 2025!

Primark’s New Adaptive Range
This is an exciting one, Primark has collaborated with designer, Victoria Jenkins, to create an adaptive collection! The range, which includes both women and menswear, will be available in 31 UK stores. During the launch, a Primark’s representative said “We’re far from finished, there’s so much more work to do”. We’re hoping to see more of this this year!

‘Edits’: The New CapCut Rival
Meta has announced a new video editing app called ‘Edits’, and it will be available on iOS next month. Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has shared that their focus is on providing the best tools for creators. We’re looking forward to seeing how the app works, and how it can compete with CapCut.

Leanna Deeb x Gymshark
Gymshark is collaborating with fitness influencer and athlete, Leanna Deeb, on a modest activewear collection. This is a very needed collaboration, and one that we’re sure lots of people have been waiting for (us included!). The collection will include hijabs and abayas, as well as joggers, tunics and hoodies.

Instagram Shares Algorithm Insights
If growing on Instagram is one of your goals this year, the app has shared some interesting information. As per Mosseri, the top three factors that matter most for ranking are watch time, likes and sends. So the more people that like your content, the more your reach will improve. And if you want to gain more followers, sends are the most important factor to focus on.

Trend Spotlight: ‘I like it that way’
This is the perfect trending sound to share something you love (even if some people don’t agree with you).
Campaign Spotlight: Cadbury’s
Cadbury’s ads are always 10/10, and they’ve done it again with their fun campaign that ‘divides’ customers. The idea is to split the chocolate bar in proportion to the effort given, for example, who cooked or who drove, vs who ate and who slept in the car. Everyone can relate to one of these, so which one will you be getting? 👀
A great campaign idea that will keep everyone wanting to come back for more!
